A Mutare man lost both his hard earned US$70 and his valued manhood during a robbery after he was stabbed by the assailant.
The suspect, Tapiwa Matende, was later arrested and dragged before Mutare magistrate Prisca Manhibi.
The State’s case is that Matende violently robber Charles Mutedzi of the cash last week Thursday. During the robbery, Matende stabbed the victim in the privates, causing serious injuries.
The court heard that the suspect initially used fists to subdue his victim before drawing out a knife and stabbing him in between the legs.
A medicam report produced shows that Mutedzi lost his manhood.
The magistrate remanded Matende in custody to 7 November for sentencing.
